Kevin and Ann Hutchinson

Kevin and Ann Hutchinson have been dancing for most of their lives. Ann started with tap and ballet as a small child. She would waltz around the living room on her dance-teacher-father’s shoes. Her night out, while raising kids, was folk dance lessons or a Sunday afternoon dancing at a Greek taverna. She taught Greek folk dancing for private parties, school PE units and festivals.
She met her husband Kevin in 2012, literally in the middle of a downtown intersection, when Stompy Jones was playing swing tunes for a farmers market/street fair. They have been dancing together up to four times a week ever since. They started teaching partner dances because of popular demand.

Ann is also a published author (mostly as Ann Wilkes), songwriter and writes words of encouragement, hope and inspiration at Clever Ann. A marketing professional, Ann is Content Writer, Email Specialist for West County Net.
Kevin Hutchinson has danced most of his life, also beginning with ballet – his sister’s class. He has been folk dancing and partner dancing for many years. In addition to being an excellent dancer and dance teacher, he can be found at open mics, playing guitar and harmonica and singing his original songs, or making gourmet meals from ingredients largely sourced from his vegetable garden.
When not dancing together, the couple enjoys riding Kevin’s Honda ST1300, hiking and spending time with friends and family.
