Go to the calendar page and pick an event. Most any event. Now click on the venue. Bam! Everything you ever wanted to know about dancing to music at that juke joint, farmers market or restaurant. And then you know, and you don’t have to click through next time. Know what else is cool?
Musicians! There is still time to sign up for Creative Sonoma’s Next Level Conference & Grants 2017. We’ll be at a table at the conclusion on Sunday to answer your questions and collect your band information to improve your Sonoma County Dance Beat gig listings. You can also find out other ways in which we can help you take it to the Next Level.
Dancers! We’ve added some more boxes to tick on the back end. What does that mean for you? You’ll see some descriptions of the venues’ dance areas. We will — when we have the information — let you know what you’ll be dancing on and how many dancers the space will fit.
The Blues Defenders brought it! We love you guys! Wendy DeWitt and Kirk Harwood started things off with a bang. It was a shame she had to open, to get to another gig, because too many people missed their awesome set. Many fabulous musicians sat in with the Blues Defenders throughout the day. Susan St. Clair declared it the best pick-up band ever. 😉 Walk-ons included: Mandy Brooks, Levi Lloyd, Steve Black, Brad Wilson, Cliff Conway and more. The place was hopping for six hours!
