We want to extend our sincerest apologies for the week that the site was down and especially to anyone who was assaulted with a horrible page that our site got redirected to during that time. It was a brutal malware attack at the server level. We are now on a new server, with a new host, in which we have much greater confidence. If anyone has experienced a similar problem, we suggest SiteGround. If you go with them from this link, we’ll get free months. It’s an effortless way you can help keep the calendar going – if you’re going to switch hosts anyway.
Fixing that mess and changing hosts cost us more than $200 (we have four sites). That’s the just the money. It also cost us MANY hours to rebuild all four sites – this one being the biggest job. This is where we remind you about the tip jar in the side bar. 😉 A couple people have dug into their pockets on numerous occasions, when they see us out dancing, and paid us directly. We thank you!
But let’s not dwell. We’re back up and loading lots of events, listing new venues and keeping you in the know through the emails (make sure you’re subscribed) and our Facebook page. We’re also cooking up a big party for April Foolery. Stay tuned!
